The pop-like imagery of Swordapop has been mish-mashed together by company founder and house artist Ian Scalzo. Ian is inspired by comic book art, grafitti, and urban street-culture, and how all these things have been embraced by skate and snow boarders.
While preparing artwork for a local gallery show, Ian decided to bring his artwork to a more buyer-friendly medium the t-shirt. The first print-run were well received, and Swordapop was born! |
