We know ordering items online can sometimes be tricky, so we have rolled up our sleeves and made getting the right fit simple! On each product page you will find a link to a size chart that shows specifically how each and every product will fit you. Below you will find some general size charts, but please use the item specific size charts for the best results.
"Slim Fit" shirts and tops fit a little snug help flatter nearly every body type. If you're not sure what size to get or if you're in-between sizes, please order the next size larger. American Apparel shirts as well as shirts from "boutique" fashion brands are usually considered "Slim Fit" items.
How to measure yourselfHOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF:CHEST:Measure under your arms around the fullest part of your chest. Be sure to keep tape level across back and comfortably loose.WAIST:Measure around your waistline at the point where you normally wear your pants placing one forefinger in between your body and the measuring tape. To measure for low-rise pants measure 1 1/2” below your normal waist.HIPS:Standing with your heels together, and keeping the tape straight and parallel to the floor, measure around the fullest part of your hips.INSEAM:This is most easily measured using a pair of pants that you already own. Find a pair that fit you well lengthwise and measure from the crotch seam to the opening at the bottom of one of the legs. Rounding this number to the nearest 1/2” will give you your inseam length.WOMEN'S BELTSBelts are normally measured to sit at your natural waist. Wherever you want the belt to sit, that is where you should measure.MEN'S BELTMen should order a belt that is one size larger than your pant waist size. If you buy a size 30 pant, you should buy a size 32 belt. |
